Overview

The DENSITY PowerGen 3600 is a high-performance 48V inverter designed to add serious 240V capability to the modular Density Power System. Delivering 3,600W of continuous AC power, PowerGen separates AC generation from battery storage, allowing you to pair it with PowerDrive and build a system around the energy capacity you actually need. Instead of committing to a fixed all-in-one power station, PowerGen gives touring vehicles, campers, marine systems and off-grid installations a powerful AC platform that can grow and change with your requirements.
Power & Performance

PowerGen delivers 3,600W of continuous 240V AC power for demanding appliances, equipment and compatible power tools. When connected to mains, its powerful 2,300W AC charger rapidly replenishes your connected PowerDrive battery system, while high conversion efficiency helps make better use of stored energy when running AC loads. Built around a 48V architecture, PowerGen can deliver substantial AC power without the extreme DC currents associated with large 12V inverter systems.
Features & Connectivity

PowerGen is designed as the AC side of the Density modular power platform, working alongside PowerDrive rather than duplicating its DC capabilities. Intelligent system monitoring gives you visibility over power generation, charging and operating status, while the integrated interface keeps control of your AC system simple. Separating the inverter and battery also means each component can be selected, positioned and upgraded independently, creating a cleaner and more flexible alternative to conventional all-in-one systems.
Charging & Compatibility

PowerGen isn't just an inverter - it brings high-power charging into the system as well. Connect to 240V mains for up to 2,300W AC charging, or connect compatible solar arrays to the integrated 25–125V MPPT input for up to 1,200W of solar charging. Pair PowerGen with PowerDrive to create a complete 48V DC and 240V AC power system, with PowerDrive managing your battery and DC requirements while PowerGen handles high-power AC, mains charging and high-voltage solar.
