Purpose built AC DC charger for the Density ecosystem. This Density Battery Charger delivers the correct charge profiles for our solid state packs, low loss connections, and hassle free operation in the shop or field. It is not a battery and contains no onboard energy storage it is a precision charging appliance engineered to maximise pack lifespan and safety.

Compatibility

  • Density Smart Batteries direct connect. The Internal intelligent BMS supervises charge acceptance; the battery charger simply provides charge.
  • Density Bare Batteries connect via the Density Battery Charger 60A Inline DC DC Active Balancing Module. This adds per cell balance control to the charge path without adding weight to the battery pack.
  • Supports common connector families (QS / XT) via model specific leads.

Output Profiles & Limits

  • Profiles tuned for Density solid state chemistry with soft start, CC/CV phases, and safe termination.
  • Thermal aware current limiting protects both pack and charger during high ambient conditions.
  • Auto resume after brownouts; state memory prevents overcharge on intermittent mains.

Safety & Compliance

  • Pack safe charge termination; protection against reverse polarity and short circuits on output.
  • Meets relevant safety and EMC requirements; consult model datasheet for region specific marks.
  • Not a battery; do not attempt to power loads directly from the charger output.

  • Can I charge Density Bare Battery without the 60A module? No Density Bare Battery lacks internal balancing. Use the inline DC DC active balancing module.
  • Does this charger power devices? No. It is a charger only, designed to charge Density packs.
  • What if mains cuts out? The Density Battery Charger resumes gracefully and will not overcharge; it reads pack state on reconnection.
